F. Alex Parra, Esq.

 

Alex Parra has been a practicing attorney for over 39 years.  He joined DLPN in 1983 and has been a principal since 1992.  Although concentrated in real estate law, land use regulation, development and construction law, his practice includes a diverse range of matters, civil litigation and appeals.  He has broad experience in all Massachusetts Courts including the Appeals Court and Supreme Judicial Court.

 

Attorney Parra is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (B.Sc. 1978) and Boston College Law School (J.D. 1982).  He is admitted to practice law before the First Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the Suprene Judicial Court of Massachusetts.

 

Outside of work, his volunteer efforts include serving twice as a member and Chair of the Carlisle Conservation Commission.  He was instrumental in the acquisition of many substantial parcels of land totaling well over 100 acres for conservation and recreation and was named Conservationist of the Year in 2005.  He now concentrates his efforts on ensuring and enhancing public access to these lands.
